Talking about myself in my bio and ads is extremely difficult for me. I’m not the type of woman who can brag about myself for more than one line, nor can I compose any “oh me so horny” copy, though I did take a classy, Claudian stab at it in my current bio blurb. It’s good one and a lovely friend of mine served as a wonderful editor and proofreader. I can write about what I like and what I want to share with a client.

Though there are services offering to write ad copy on behalf of an escort, I will never use them. It is not that I think they are unnecessary services, but they’re just not right for me. Since I offer genuine Companionship to gentlemen that is highly personalized and situational, I can’t imagine writing less than genuine ad copy or bio blurbs. I said all that to say, my bio blurb will change often because I am constantly fine tuning my self-expression and it will be changing again soon. Being a perfectionist and “control enthusiast”, which I will discuss in a future post, doesn’t help matters either. Whatever the edits produce, they all come from a place of sincerity.

I can relate. I find it extremely difficult to express my personality through words. My advertisements are usually very simple because of this fact. I can write about anything but when it comes to describing myself I get writers block. I’m not sure what is relevant or if I sound cliché. My tendency to overthink gets the best of me. It’s like pulling teeth.

  2. Talk about changing website verbiage? Ugh!
I just changed mine a month ago, after graduation and realize I sound like a pompous ass. I, I, I. I guess I didn’t take my own advice, huh? But I’m almost done.
    I’ll email you later…

  3. LOL! I haven’t looked at your site lately, so now I want to go check it out. Yes, please do email me. I always enjoy our email exchanges.

  4. Yes, that’s my problem in general: overthinking. I am extremely critical and analytical. On top of that, I want to make sure that I am straightforward enough that there is very little room to misinterpret anything that I say. So I tend to be too wordy but I guess that’s just how I roll.
